Hale Makana O ‘Uluwehi is a DHHL-supported redevelopment project that will transform the former Ulu Ke Kukui site in Māʻili into 40 affordable rental homes for Native Hawaiian Homestead beneficiaries. Designed with families in mind, the two-bedroom, two-bath units will serve households earning between 30% to 80% of the Area Median Income.

More than just housing, Hale Makana o ‘Uluwehi will include community resources, keiki care, and pathways to homeownership through education and financial counseling — helping families build toward a future on Hawaiian homelands.
